Dance Music Arrangements
David Chase has been Music Director, Supervisor and/or Arranger for over 40 Broadway productions. He's done many arrangements and orchestrations for the Boston Pops and Tanglewood Festival Chorus (including their signature Twelve Days of Christmas), plus multiple arrangements for The Kennedy Center Honors, Radio City Music Hall (where he spent many years as music director), and Essential Voices USA (including the song cycle Washington Women). Television includes arranging and orchestrating for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, HBO's Love and Death, and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel; and music directing and co-arranging both seasons of Schmigadoon! He was music director for several productions at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and for NBC Live! performances of The Sound of Music and Peter Pan (Emmy nominations for both). Grammy nomination for the cast album of Nice Work if You Can Get It. Olivier nomination for dance music for Anything Goes. Choral works published by Hal Leonard. David made his professional acting debut this year as the bandleader and announcer for the "Gordon Ford Show"on Season 5 of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. He lives in New York City with his wife, actress (and Drama Desk nominee!) Paula Leggett Chase, and their two sons, Kyler and Dashiell.
